The Clarksville Police Department seeks brave young volunteers for its "Junior Police Academy." Could your child be up for the challenge?
In this event, children ages 6–12 can participate in a mini police training camp with games and activities.
They will also learn from Clarksville police officers and check out some cool police vehicles and equipment. In addition to the T-shirts, the day will conclude with a special ceremony swearing in our newest Junior Police Officers at 12:00 pm.

Our experienced yoga instructor will guide you through a variety of poses and breathing techniques suitable for all levels of practitioners, from beginners to advanced yogis. This class is the perfect opportunity to unwind and find balance in the midst of your busy life.

Line dancing is an excellent exercise, but it can also be a lot of fun! There are many different types of line dances that we teach in our line dancing program. Our Line Dancing Lessons don't require a partner, but you are free to bring a group of friends and have a great time. Plus, you'll unwittingly be getting some workout.

Only regular physical activity, such as dancing, was linked to a significant decrease in dementia and Alzheimer's disease, according to a study by Albert Einstein Medical Center in the Bronx. Line dancing courses, in particular, have been shown in numerous studies to improve cognition, balance, cardiovascular health, and vertigo. And it's great fun!

This class is the best place to start for everyone, as everyone learns at a different rate.

Children ages 6-11 will be entertained and kept active during the summer months with this program.
Four days a week, we will meet in our parks to play sports, do arts & crafts, and more!
Transportation is not included, so parents are responsible for drop-off/pick-up for each event.
Every participant must bring or upload a copy of their birth certificate on/by the first day of the program for age verification.

Registration opens to Clarksville residents ONLY on Monday, March 18
If the program does not fill up, registration for non-residents will open on Monday, April 1st

Bump, Set, Spike! Our adult (18+) volleyball leagues are open to everyone. The season costs $40, and each session lasts for two hours.
Please wear comfortable attire and tennis shoes (no black soles).

At Camp Discover, campers are given the unique opportunity to uncover their own potential, discover a newfound sense of independence, and learn invaluable skills wrapped in exciting activities that they'll cherish for a lifetime.

Our camp shines a spotlight on team spirit, boosts self-confidence, and instills leadership skills through a variety of enjoyable and interactive activities. Under the enthusiastic supervision of our knowledgeable Camp Counselors, not a day goes by without an adventure, giving your child an unforgettable summer of discovery and friendship. Whether they’re new to the camp experience or alumni of our popular Summer Explorers program, there's something for every young adventurer at Camp Discover.

One of our exciting initiatives at Camp Discover is the Junior Leader program! If your child demonstrates maturity, the qualities of a role model and has a knack for leading, they may be handpicked by our staff to participate in Summer Explorers as a Junior Leader. High fives are in order as our staff carefully choose stand-out individuals for this leadership role by Friday, June 21. If selected, our Junior Leaders will be asked to put their capes on and return for the superhero training week from June 25–28. Here, they'll be grouped into their All-Star teams and undergo top-secret training on the specific ‘missions’ and responsibilities of a Junior Leader.

However, we urge all superhero parents to have a heart-to-heart with their children, making them aware of the responsibilities that come with wearing the Junior Leader cape and preparing them for the possibility of not being selected this year. No worries though, not being Super-Leader for a day, in no way makes them any less super! We promise plenty of adventures to return to next year–maybe even as a Junior Leader!

Get on your feet and show us how you can lead the crowd! Join us for a fun filled season of cheerleading in our Little Generals Cheer program.

This program is for grades 1-6, and registration cost covers the uniform. Travel may be required to games taking place at Floyd Central, Providence, and Silver Creek.

In a vibrant studio pulsing with energy, participants in our hip-hop dance fitness class move to the infectious beat of the some great hits, guided by a dynamic instructor. The atmosphere is electric as dancers of all skill levels unleash their creativity, mastering slick footwork, fluid body rolls, and attitude filled poses. With high-energy routines and an inclusive, empowering vibe, the class is a celebration of movement, rhythm, and confidence.


Drop-Ins welcome at $6 per class.

Welcome to the one-night youth football camp where kids in grades K-6 will experience a night filled with football frenzy. Picture your young athlete learning the game of football, running routes, learning fundamentals from our enthusiastic coaches, and hearing the fun and laughter echo through the air as they experience potentially their first football Friday! Get ready for a night of fun, teamwork, and memories on the gridiron!

Tackle a new season of football with our Little Generals Football Program! We participate in the Youth Football of Southern Indiana league, playing against other communities in our area. Games will be played at Clarksville High School, Providence High School, Silver Creek High School, and Floyd Central High School.

We offer three different age divisions in our league:
1st and 2nd Grade
3rd and 4th Grade
5th and 6th Grade

Come out and show your skills against local competition. Our first night of practice will take place on July 8, and games will begin in late July-early August.

Are you looking to incorporate more fresh produce into your cooking? Are you interested in expanding your home gardening skills?

This Grow It, Cook It series, offered by the Clark County Extension Office, aims to teach participants about seasonal produce and its various uses and health benefits.

Heidi Potter, Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator, will provide lessons on plant identification, gardening, plant selection, and harvesting, while Emma Finerfrock, Health
and Human Sciences Educator will cover the nutritional value and preparation techniques of the spotlighted foods! Participants will be encouraged to engage in hands-on gardening activities and sample freshly prepared recipes!
